Its origin is uncertain, although the legends say that it was a baby stolen by a water fairy. Deceived by Elaine, daughter of King Pelles, he had a son with her.

3. Sir Galahad

He is the bastard son of Lancelot and Elaine. His virtue is the purity achieved by a life without sins and he is the only one who can reach the Grail.

4. Sir Perceval of Wales

He is a nobleman that his mother raised away from the knightly world to which he finally joined fascinated.

He entered with Sir Galahad in the Grail castle and in some versions his beloved was called Blancaflor. Its history has been used with variations in modern literature.

5. Sir Bors de Ganis

It is the name of a couple of gentlemen of the round table, father and son. The father, king of Galicia was one of the main collaborators of Arturo and the son is the third gentleman who arrived until the Grail.

6. Sir Bedevere

Marshal of the King, is the one that returns to the Lady of the Lake the sword of the monarch: Excalibur .

7. Sir Tristan de Leonis

It has its origin in Celtic folklore. He is the second bravest knight, but sometimes he resorts to tricks and moves away from the high moral level required of a knight. He is the protagonist of the medieval legend of "Tristan and Isolde".

8. Sir Gawain

Is son of Morgana , the sorceress sister of Arturo. Fervently loyal to King Arthur, he is sometimes reckless. He is one of the first gentlemen to be part of the round table.

9. King Pellionore

He became Arthur's friend after defeating him and breaking the sword of the stone. It was said that he was a descendant of the royal lineage of Joseph of Arimathea, the Grail conservatives. He was father of Sir Perceval.

10. Sir Lamorak of Wales

He was the fastest gentleman. Son also of King Pellionore was Lord of Wales and died at the hands of Mordred the supposed son of Morgana and Arthur.

11. Sir Gaheris

It is perhaps the least important of the "big 12". He is the squire of his older brother Gawain, for a murder he is exiled from the court, although later he reappears in it.

12. Sir Kay, the Steward

It is known to all thanks to the Disney movie. Arturo was adopted by Kay's father, Sir Hector, who named him his son's squire.

Kay ends up being a Knight of the Round Table after recognizing Arthur and repenting of his behavior trying to appropriate the merit of drawing the sword from the stone.
