Richard Branson is one of the most well-known millionaires on the planet. He currently has a fortune of about $ 5 trillion.
He left school at age 16 and set up a magazine with one of his friends. In the 70 began Virgin Records, finally creating the Virgin group.
In the 80s he created Virgin Atlantic and in the 90 Virgin Mobile and Virgin Trains. Its latest project is Virgin Galactic, which is expected to be the first company to offer space tourism.
In my opinion is an example of work, perseverance and improvement to follow, since nobody gave him anything and created his own destiny.
From a collection of phrases he has said in interviews, these are the top 10 Tips for entrepreneurs That we can continue in the:
1-Chase your dreams and dedicate your time to the things that interest you.
If you're going to start a business, make sure it's your hobby or something you really enjoy. You will live a better life that way. Many people have many good ideas but few try and put them into practice.
The people who say they are going to do it, are the ones that end up having a much more exciting and rewarding life.
2-Mark positive difference
The first thing to do to be an entrepreneur is to basically have an idea that is going to have a positive impact on the lives of other people. A business is just that.
3-Believe in your ideas and be the best
You definitely need to believe in your ideas. There is no point in doing anything in life unless you feel good and proud about it. You have to have passion and you have to be able to inspire other people to have the same passion.
It did not make sense to create an airline if it was not going to be better than any other in the world, you have to make sure that any aspect of what you do is better than your competition.
4-Have fun and take care of your team
I think it is important to have a good time and if it is not, move and do something else. You must create a work environment where it is pleasant to work. Make sure you have the kind of people on your team who really care about people, who look for their good and who do not criticize.
5-Do not give up
It is extremely important not to surrender. There are situations in my life, like crossing the Pacific in balloon, where the chances of survival were remote.
Being an entrepreneur is not much different than being adventurous. You have enough situations in which you have to make sure to work day and night to overcome difficulties.
I think I'm reasonably good at dealing with failure and not letting me out more than an hour or two until I put all I can to avoid it.
6-Make lots of lists and continue to put new challenges
I make lots of lists because I think it's the little details that make an exceptional company. The details are very important and I think it is important to set them in new goals and challenges.
I think the first day of the year is a good day to write the goals of the year. Unless you organize and write down what you want to achieve, there is a danger that in time you will forget and you will not achieve much.
7-Spend time with your family and learn to delegate
I know I'm a good entrepreneur, but I'm not sure he's a good boss.
One of the things that you have to learn as an entrepreneur is to learn the art of delegating. Find people better than you in managing the business day by day, giving you time to think about the great strategy and be with your family. That's very important especially if you have kids, that's what you're going to leave when you leave this world.
8-Turn off the TV and do things
My mother made us do things, not watch other people do things, and not watch TV. I think it was a good way to make us grow. With my own children, I spend a lot of time and never see television.
9-When people say bad things about you, prove they are wrong
There are people who try to sell a few books from the name of successful people. It's unpleasant but you know that if you sue, you will not get anything, so I've had to learn to ignore people like that.
I think the best thing to do is to prove they are wrong. That book ( Branson: Behind the Mask By Tom Bowet) says that our space program will not work. At the end of this year we will prove you wrong.
