Rebecca Holden Is an American actress and country singer best known for playing April Curtis in the second season of the well-known series"Knight Rider".

Personal life
Rebecca was born on June 12, 1958 in Dallas, Texas. She was raised in a middle-class family, where her mother had a kindergarten to be able to be close to her three daughters. His parents kept a dog farm as part of their labors.
Rebecca married in 1981 with Bobby Vasallo, an oil entrepreneur who decided to move from Texas to California with his wife to support her career. Career
Rebecca began her music education at North Texas State University specializing in voice and piano. Later it moved to the city of New York where it resumed its studies particularly.
While there, a talent agency included her within her portfolio as a magazine and commercial cover model. It became part of important campaigns like the Breck shampoo known for its"Breck Girls"(Breck Girls). This exhibition was the one that would give him the impetus to continue his race in Los Angeles.
Rebecca is best known for her numerous television credits, but is perhaps best remembered for her role as computer genius, April Curtis, in the television series"Knight Rider"(known as The Fantastic Car in Spain, The Incredible Self In Mexico and the fantastic car for the rest of Hispano-America) between 1983 and 1984.
Regarding the way he got the role, so Holden replied to an interview that was made for one of the fans pages of the series:
"I had participated in many shows as a guest star for both Universal and NBC, so that all producers were aware of my work. When this role in the series became available, I was called to read a few lines with David (Hasselhoff) for the producers. We had a great time doing the scenes, and by the time I got home, I had a call from my agents offering me the role."
He also attracted considerable attention for his role as villain Elena Cosgrove in ABC's"General Hospital"in 1987.
She has had invited guest appearances in important shows such as"Magnum PI","Love Boat"(Vacations in the Sea in Spain and The Cruise of Love in Spanish America),"Three's Company" ""Nightmare","Night Hammer,""Remington Steele,""Matt Houson,""Barney Miller,"and others. His films have participated in festivals like the one of Cannes and have made participations in those of Manila and Japan.
After the decade of the 80, Rebecca rarely appeared in televising programs since it decided to concentrate in the singing. Given his training in classical music, he has performed in the opera where he has participated in shows such as"Oliver"and"Damn Yankees".
Holden recorded a studio album for Curb Records and country and gospel albums for BMG Records in Switzerland.
Two of their singles have garnered their share of the listener's most-list list:"The Truth Does not Always Rhyme"and"License to Steal,"which reached # 82 and # 78 on the 1989 country music charts.
She has also participated as a presenter at the Christian Country Music Awards and was a member of the Sunday gospel shows at the Grand Ole Pry. In 2014 Rebecca released a new single called Dreams Come True, which is part of the album"Dare to Dream"and consists of a duet performed with Jon Secada.
More recently, he has starred in a film called"Hollywouldn'ts"and also participated in the realization of a pilot for a new series in the channel Comedy Central.
Holden continues to sing in churches, for political events and donations. Some recent entries include the inauguration of Virginia State Governor Bob McdDonell, event for American Legion military families, the University of Maryland honor gala for children, and the Pink Breast Cancer Society event for victims Of floods.
