The Couplets of animals for children Are usually one of the most typical variants of this type of poems formed by quatrains of verses of 8 syllables.
The couplets allow to develop the imagination of adults and infants with daily activities and the environment that surrounds them, making use of resources such as personification, simile or comparison, hyperbole or exaggeration, others.
Public and private initiatives have been proposed to promote the publication, using printed media and using information technology, coplas and its diffusion in the classroom and at home.
This would result in the expansion of the process of formation of the students, through didactic games, brochures, books, poetry recital contests, others.
Poems allow infants to know and develop stories, through observation and discovery of qualities.
They can be serious or funny poems, with free verses. The promotion of reading allows them to give them opportunities to express themselves in public (few or many people) and to learn positive customs in their communities.
The selected couplets were obtained through a consultation of material located on the Internet, in English and Spanish, in order to observe the variety of ways in which texts aimed at children are shown, stimulating their creative thinking process.
